Investment Competition Summer 2021

Participating in Invbots Investment Competition (“Competition”) is free of charge.
The Competition is organized by Invest Bots Limited (“Invbots”). The participants of the Competition (“Participants”) should open a Virtual Securities Investment Account and register for the Competition before participating in the Competition.
To be eligible for the Competition, Participants should be aged 18 or above who is either (i) an undergraduate student currently enrolled at a university, or (ii) has graduated from a university within 2 years.
Participants are required to provide valid personal information (including their names, student identification numbers, phone numbers and email addresses) upon registration. Personal information collected will only be used for identity verification and contacting purposes. Invbots will keep the personal information strictly confidential for no longer than necessary for the specific purposes.
Participants should hold valid identification documents. The information of the identification documents provided in the registration forms should be identical with that of valid identification documents. Otherwise, Invbots has the right to disqualify the Participants from the prizes.
The period of Competition application is from 15 June 2021 to 2 July 2021 (both dates inclusive) (“Application Period”). The first stage of the Competition is from 12 July 2021 to 6 August 2021 (both dates inclusive) (“Portfolio Building”). The second stage of the Competition is from 9 August 2021 to 3 September 2021 (both dates inclusive) (“Simulative Trading”).
Each Participant can only register once in the Application Period. Otherwise, Invbots has the right to disqualify the eligibility of the Participant.
In the Stock Picking period, the Participants will be evaluated by their scores based on profit/loss ratio, sharpe ratio, and maximum drawdown. Shortlisted Participants will proceed to the Simulative Trading period and be evaluated by their scores and presentation performance.
Participant with the highest score will be the Champion. The one who holds the second highest score will be the First Runner-up, so on and so forth. The prizes of the Competition are as follows: i) Champion (1 winner): HKD 10,000 ii)First Runner-up (1 winner): HKD 5,000 iii)Second Runner-up (1 winner): HKD 3,000 iv) Devoted Traders Awards (2 winners): Apple/ Google Play gift card of HKD 1,000
Participants should agree and consent that his/ her full name and the university he/ she enrolled at will be disclosed to the media and general public by Invbots. The Winners may be invited to a prize presentation ceremony, and Invbots shall have the right to public event photos of the Winners taken at the prize presentation ceremony on the website of Invbots or through other media.
Participants should comply with all the terms of services of the Invbots website, as well as terms and trading rules of the Competition. Any fraud and/ or abuse of the Competition by a Participant (as determined by Invbots at its sole discretion) will result in disqualification of the Participant from the Competition. Invbots reserves the right to take legal action to recover the equivalent value of the prize awarded to the Participant inappropriately pursuant to any fraud and/ or abuse.
If Invbots reasonably believes that any Participant has been using or abetting others to use inappropriate method or committing fraud to interrupt operation and interfere any part of the Competition, causing technical problems, disorders, jeopardizing, damaging or affecting running of the Competition, its accuracy, fairness or smooth operation, Invbots reserves the right to disqualify the Participant from the Competition and claim for any damage and loss suffered by Invbots from the Participant.
Invbots has the right to use the relevant information in accordance with Invbot’s business practices and privacy policy, including but not limited to the usage for the operation of the Invbot website and by Invbots for analysis.
The employees of Invbots are not allowed to register for the Competition and are not entitled to any prizes.
